Mandelic acid

The Skin Fix one, I think, contains a little bit of salicylic in there, and so does Face Reality.

So Face Reality contains 2% salicylic, mandelic.

Those percentages are not available.

You don't know what they are, but they're, I think, mandelic, lactic.

Yeah, mandelic, lactic.

And was that it? Mandelic, lactic, and salicylic.

I think it's it.

But you've been using it.

And this one, it comes up pretty frequently for the usage in acne and pigmentation conversations.

Mandelic acid, it has a larger molecular structure than glycolic acid.

And because of that, it generally penetrates the skin more slowly.

So that slower penetration can be useful when we want controlled exfoliation without creating unnecessary irritation.

And this is why mandelic acid is a great alpha hydroxy acid and is used in a lot of chemical peels for skin of color.

Mandelic is known to be safe for skin of color and heavy melanated skin.

Also, mandelic acid also has antibacterial as well as antifungal properties as well.

Mandelic-based peels, they may be incorporated into treatment plans for concerns involving acne, Pigmentation, post acne marks, congestion, texture, and oily skin.

Gosh.

My mandelic is like child's play when I first start out with them.

Like we move them to like stronger things.

Mandelic's like they've never used an acid in their life.

I still deal with that now, just like trying to get that corrected.
