E
12:36ElleHOST
Where you might say, okay, maybe not sensible to go off at the A-goal pace.
E
12:40ElleHOST
And if I think back to Manchester Marathon last year, My A goal was to run around 247, I would say.
E
12:50ElleHOST

E
12:55ElleHOST

What made you decide to go back to the marathon distance?
J
10:19James DownHOST
I must admit when I finished Milton Keynes I was quite annoyed that I had another marathon booked already and I had to do another one.
J
10:26James DownHOST
but it was probably a good thing I had a really good summer training block obviously I think we all know I prefer to train in the summer I did however injure my ankle the week before which was not a good omen on the Friday in Berlin when I went to the expo to pick up my number I went to the KT tape stand and they taped my ankle up for me and whilst they were doing that the guy was like are you sure you should be running this is quite swollen and Anyway, I did run and I ran a negative split and I ran a PB of 3.11. And whilst I know that wasn't the best I could give due to my ankle, I also learned a little bit about myself and a little bit about going off easier in the marathon.
J
11:08James DownHOST
And I then had Manchester Marathon booked for next April.
