And there's another weapon system that Iran has apparently been trying to acquire, and that would be shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles.

The Treasury Department has sanctioned Chinese and Hong Kong-based companies that it says were involved in attempts to procure weapons for Iran, including man portable air defense systems, known as MANPADS, that could be used against American aircraft.

One network allegedly tried to route those weapons through Belarus in order to hide Iran as the ultimate customer.

US officials say that that particular effort failed.

And what we're seeing right now, this particular push forward by the Yemeni sultis, it is only several weeks old because we saw a gathering of the storm maybe about a month or two ago, but only now has the conflict really escalated to a point where we are seeing dominoes fall very quickly.

And who is supporting the PLC, the STC? Clearly, I mean, it's the Saudi Arabian Air Force, which has actually suffered its first major loss this week with an F-15S being shot down over northern Yemen, most likely by a Yemeni Houthi's MANPAD, like a Stinger missile, for example, which locked in and took out that plane.

Mind you, the F-15s, these are fairly old aircrafts.
