Man-Bat

I was going to say, I think multiple episodes have ended in a similar way.

The obvious one that comes to mind was, I think it was the second Man-Bat episode when his wife becomes girl Man-Bat and they're up on a bridge and it's snowing and Batman's, oh, I saved you both and turned you back into humans and I'm going to leave.

And you're like, oh, you just left them on the top of the bridge.

Okay, I'm on the peak of it.

Well, I, I already waited ...

When I was at DC I was fortunate, I got to write a miniseries called Man Bat that came out five years ago.

So I waited five years between then and then.

[laughs]

Yes.

We're missing Catwoman, sorry, Man-Bat, Scarecrow, Bane, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, et cetera, et cetera.

And Batmite.

Yes, true that.

And then he also more recently does like a lot of voiceover work and he plays the super villain in a lot of cartoons and video games.

He plays Dr. Octopus and the Mad Hatter and Man Bat, which is a funny Batman villain that I didn't know about.

That's funny.

Yeah.

So I'm looking forward to that.

Okay, now it's time for feedback on our previous episode together in which we covered Brave and the Bold number 119 starring Batman and Man-Bat.

Okay, our pal Rob Kelly says, I've always loved Man-Bat like Chris.

I'm pretty sure my first exposure to him was the Power Record.

It was about as a powerful intro into a character as a kid can have.

While the Batman family stories were fun, I think he works better as Spice.

So him showing up every so often in B&B is perfect.

In an alternate world, Marvel beat DC to the punch and created Man-Bat first so he could be part of the Legion of Monsters.

He can make this movie gritty, but more supernatural scary.

Like, you talked about the fact that he could do, like, Man Bat and maybe a little scarier Penguin and Mr.

Freeze.

Yeah, do the people that have kind of powers.

Barely in the ground and then she was back.

But- um now i i was looking at speaking of animation justice league gods and monsters they did a movie i know you did some of the comics i was reading the batman one the vampiric batman do you remember this kirk langstrom

yeah well yeah because i did the uh we did a uh a prequel series which did all the backstories on the characters and on that justice league it was like a six issue mini series or something like that yeah

that was my question so that came right okay so they did the movie then you did the yeah it came
