Mama's Family

The kids in this movie ignore all those things.

And soon we have Mark Woff, Morissette Gallagher, Chyna Webster, Sarah Brightman, who stepped in for me on Thursday, Jenma, Claire Carey, James, Eric Brown, Buzz from Mama's Family, Buzz, and Tony, Dana Ashworth, Bobby Ricks from Twin Peaks.

They're all being menaced as they walk through the Wax Museum.

Each installation is a window in another dimension full of danger.

[laughs]

You know what? I just saw a picture from Mama's Family-

Oh

... which I watched a lot growing up, and it was, um, Vicki-

You have a very Mama's Family-

So you got that album?

... vibe about you right now.

Gleason Show.

I mean, it's like Mama's Family.

Mama's Family-

Off of, off of Carol Burnett

... yeah, it was a, it was a Carol Burnett skit-

I...

You best know her as Iola Bo- Boylan on Mama's Family.

Yes.

Or, uh, Gunnery Sergeant Alva Bricker on Major Dad.

when I, I forgot she did this, and I was like, oh, I love th- I've seen her as a character actor in a bunch of things, and I'm like, "I love her." Yeah.

Oh, yeah.

And I definitely remember from Mama's Family, too.

Yeah.

... that was hilarious.

Mama's Family-

As-

No.

Oh.

No, that, Carol Burnett was really good.

The Mama's Family and Carol Burnett was funny.

Um-

When I spoke to her, the, the first thing we laughed about was, was the wig.

Um, yeah, it looks like it's from, like, The Mama's Family or something like that.

So, uh, but, uh, she was-

A lot of the cast members were in an acting class, um, which I was in also, and we'd all talk about this movie.

Uh, and that was...

I mean, she's a, a f- talented and, and h- hilarious comedian, and, um, she had some fun stories to tell working on The Carol Burnett Show, working on Mama's Family, uh, her-

That's great

... her career in general.

[laughs] Good luck.

[laughs] [trumpet sounds] As I mentioned in that recording, I did stop down Friday evening for a couple Q&As, starting with Vicki Lawrence.

Now, she has done tons of stuff, but she's best known for appearing on The Carol Burnett Show and, of course, Mama's Family.

And she was even down doing photo opportunities as Mama.
