Malleshwaram

It's much more multicultural than it used to be before.

Uh, Bangalore, otherwise in those days was much more, you know, I don't know whether the practice still exists, but if you go to a place like Malleshwaram, which is one of the, you know, uh, sort of old areas of Bangalore, um, shops would typically shut from 1:00 to 5:00.

Everyone used to take their siesta, open only at 5:00.

And I don't think that culture is there, uh, anymore.
