He came back with them like a couple of drives later like, "Hey, let's go.

You're my guy, even though you steal the back, baby, we still got you." And, you know, Kam Coleman came back to him immediately like, "Hey, you dropped that drop, we coming right back to you." I think that's a good th- that, that was a nice theme throughout the game.

And so for the Spurs, who largely remain the same roster-wise, obviously you added Terrace Reid Jr., you added Jaden Quaintance, uh, Jacoby Gillespie, and Malik Brown through the draft.

Um, you added Tobias Harris in the off-season.

You shook off some of your free agents kinda near the end of the bench.

when we used to see him come out, it'd be a lot of the red zone stuff.

This is, this is where I think you, you hope that you set up a situation where you're so concerned about Smothers or Malik Brown or you've gotta make sure that Cam Coleman's not getting one on one for a back shoulder, and then boom, you've got a little space.

Arch Manning can just go and run that thing in with his athleticism.

those sort of plays that he can make opens up the floor for everybody and it opens up for him because then on defense what does he have He has an offense, the other team, who's trying to run offense, and they're tired because they're so tired from running around chasing five guys.

And that's where he can come in, get his hand in the passing lane, and kind of inherit the throne that was Malik Brown and being the agitator on defense.

that sort of thing helps by him having an offensive game.

That's improved.

And I was like, what is he doing where did he come from is he coming back part of me was like I've been kind of pining for biz to be that kind of last guy on the roster but anyway um what ends up being said here is that noting that Olenek was a positive locker room presence Brett Siegel says he wouldn't be surprised if the veteran forward slash Center ends up re-signing with the Spurs as their 15th man though he may have to be willing to wait until during the regular season if that's the plan i'll be honest i don't really know salary cap stuff and the implications of it that well as to why he would have to wait but i think that's fine it's probably to do with you know what kind of contract they can give him or something um and maybe it's like roster space in the offseason this kind of thing but let me know down below yes or no would you be willing to bring kelly olenek back as the 15th man on this team because taylon peter even though he's shown here he's not he's going to be in the g league uh probably if he's on i think an exhibit 10 so he might not even be part of the team but i think he will be Quaintance, of course, injured.

And guys like Jacoby Gillespie and Malik Brown, they're going to be down in the G League too.

So, having extra insurance behind Wemby and Cornette and Terrace Reed is something I'm never mad at.
