I don't know the exact times, but I want to say it was almost like one came over to the bench with about eight minutes to go and the other one came over to the bench with about six minutes to go.

And you just felt like Malachi Smith was out there and he was playing as hard as he could and stuff.

But to the quality of Michigan, you just had that feeling like, can we get to halftime? hole you know and they made a little dent towards the end of the first half we just couldn't sort of get there right then in the second half it was more about we missed the threes you know we just couldn't make a three to get started when we got an opening open one the thing i want to remind you about with elliot kadu is like silas may do an excellent job on him again because he's not limited with the high ankle sprain as he was a year ago that's a great point But when you are playing Elliot Cadoux, it's truly a five-man defensive effort.

Silas may do a great job on him on the ball, but he is such a great passer.

I do want to real quick before we open this up for folks and I'll give, I'll let, I won't cite them because they might, people might get mad at this.

I thought a good point someone made to me today in terms of what the ceiling is on this team is that it was Malachi Smith was great for them last year.

And it's a shame that the season had a great ending, but like Malachi never got to like come back home and get his flowers.

Right.

Cause season just ended in Indianapolis and he had that great tournament and but like junior County has is a, is now the backup point guard who is a taller, I think better player than Malachi Smith, certainly more consistent.

And I think one of the things I didn't anticipate was just how quickly he's fit into this.

Now it's not perfect.

Hopefully he's able to get back to the point where he's actually healthy and playable.

You know, we haven't exactly seen the two ways operate very much I mean, there's only two of them and Malachi Smith doesn't get into the game.

So, but like, No, man, I mean, it's too early to put anything like that concretely on him.

I think even just, like, you shouldn't look at the physique of some of these players, right? Like, I think that's one of the things with rookies.
