Maka Albarn

I, if I read the manga, it was forever ago, but I do remember watching the anime and not being happy with the ending, um, and then being told, like, "Well, the manga ending is different, so go check that out." So, um, that is a common, uh, thing that has come up.

Uh, but, um, since we have all watched it before, uh, for anyone who has not seen it, uh, Soul Eater follows meisters Maka, Death the Kid, and Black Star, as well as their weapons, Soul, Liz, Patty, and Tsubaki, as they attend Death Weapon Meister Academy.

And every meister's goal is to have their weapon absorb the souls of 99 evil humans and one witch to increase the weapon's power and turn them into a death scythe.

Uh, as I mentioned, uh, it started release in 2008, went until 2009, so it was released over about a year.

But we know the, the base, uh, goals, I guess, and the main, uh, what drives these characters.

Um, so episode one, Residence of a Soul.

Meister Maka Albarn and her weapon partner, Soul Eater, have collected 99 evil souls, souls of weapon meisters and death scythes who have eaten human souls, causing their souls to become corrupt and turn into what they call kishin.

They only need the soul of a witch to turn Soul into a death scythe.
