Maffra

... just to see if we could find some fish and fished around.

I've, this is my local, I'm from Maffra, so Hollands is quite easy for me to get to and have a look at.

And Connor had a hit on a lot of the spots that I normally catch fish on, and this year the Hollands flats and stuff are a bit of a struggle.

Like, compared to last year, last year we were catching 50 bream a day, and good bream on Loch Sport side and Long Bay side, and the fish just weren't there at the moment, so we really just h- honed into the straits and found a couple in there, but it was very scarce.

So, you know, Terrelgan, we're hoping that you show out and we're expecting them to...

Come out in full force from as far as Salem, Maffra, to come and support us.

But look, Jade for us was a really important piece.

I think not just from one, she encompasses everything that is basketball, country Victoria, right, and country toughness, and the way she plays and her energy.

It was an amazing day.

Get down to Maffra.

It's an amazing place and amazing girls at the Maffco Brewery.

You know? So that's, you know, that's the dichotomy of that situation [chuckles] I think is, you know, the, the clubs themself don't have the support.

It was really good to see we raced Maffra Gippy a month or two back, and that club has reinvested in themself big time.

Brent's done an amazing job out there, Brent Sylvester.

A- and, you know, the, the club, the track, the facilities, everything like that, that was really rejuvenating to see that.

You know, 'cause that's another one of those iconic Victorian tracks, I believe, Maffra.

And yeah, we raced the Gippy there a couple of months ago, and the track was the best it's ever been, in my opinion, for a regional.

The facilities are great.
