Mads Sogaard

Hmm.

So Tampa's willing to give, give him up 'cause they have a new guy for their AHL team, Mads Sogaard.

Huh, interesting.

So, and you know how much I love Justin Peters, but the Tampa Bay Lightning have decided that Mads Sogaard is a better option for them than the, the guy that they gave us for free.

We'll see how that works out.

Maybe it will.

I mean, we've seen Mads Sogaard over the past few years.

Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't.

And it just, like- It was just so clear, the writing on the wall, that he wasn't ready for this, and the Sens had no choice.

Like, their other options were Mads Sogaard and Hunter Sheppard, who they didn't have a lot of confidence in.

I mean, both those goalies no longer with the organization this year.

So that kinda tells you where they were at with them.

I mean, they have, they have these other players.

Like, they have Mads Sogaard, they have Olivier Rodrigue.

I mean, they have depth players-

Yeah

Remember, last week we talked about how development paths vary for young netminders.

[static] Right, and don't forget, Cal Conan, Harrison Menighen, Olivier Rodrigue, and Mads Sogaard are also in the mix.

It's a crowded room.

But for opening night, it's Johansson.

I also think it really kind of shows where the Sens prospect pool was at way back then.

We had Mads Sogaard as the second-best prospect in the organization a few years ago.

Yep, that one i- is surprising, but Mads is our guy, so I'm sure he got a little bit of LOSP boost from us there.
