Madras

In Bengal, one person out of 47 could vote.

In Madras, one out of 34.

A very interesting feature, though not novel, is the division of the electorate into classes.

For example, the Bengal Legislative Council is composed as follows.

And we take it out.

We have a range out in Madras, Oregon here, which is a couple hours from our factory that we go out and we'll take customers out there and we take sometimes, you know, LE, military.

But one of the things that we use it for mainly is product development.

And our engineers go out and just continue to work on, you know, how do we make sure that we're maximizing that, you know, early light, controlling you know that and be able to understand how you can you know get work in low light whether it's sunset or sunrise and then dealing with glare you know those that that whole thing light management is probably i think one of the things i'm most proud of particularly in the last decade because we spent a lot of time and money on engineering that piece of it and and just making sure we are clearly the best at managing light and uh Yeah, it works, man.

I don't think that's plausible.

I think my little grid in Madras, Oregon could go down, and then I think we'd figure out how to bring it back up again.

But I don't think Portland's grid and Madras and Bend is all going down at the same time because of diversification.

So I was going from Hood River to Madras, Oregon.

And, um, got everything set, and I got up flying and in the right direction, and I looked for my second marker and I didn't see it.

And now what I didn't know at the time was that when you're, you know, at 5,000 feet, those high mountains, all, everything flattens out.

I was just like screaming in the cockpit, like by myself-

... like, "Ah!" And I got to Madras.

You have to land and, like, get out and go into the little office, and I was just buzzing with adrenaline.

I do feel like food pods are definitely an us thing.

We got good ones.
