Madison McFerrin

I mean, it's like even if it's, it's subtle it's a, it's always a consistent thread in everything she does.

She reminds me of a couple other artists that we've discussed, uh, specifically Jamila Woods and Madison McFerrin.

They're all very distinctive in their own right, only in the sense that the element we're talking about of, [smacks lips] you know, uh, a broader jazz influence, but that's, that is, you know, connected to something very modern.

Like with Madi- Madison McFerrin is a lot more of like an electronic influence or Jamila Woods and, uh, Olive Jones you'll hear kind of that influence but it's a little more of like an R&B thing.

But it's more about it can permeate any style which is why I think of those three artists together even though they're, like I said, very unique in their own right each of them.

But it's just that jazz influence comes through.
