Madera Canyon

Number six, Jacob Wing.

45-year-old Jacob Wing was last seen on Friday, July 10, 2020, on the Old Baldy Trail in the Madeira Canyon in the Coronado National Forest in Tucson, Arizona.

According to the few media reports that have been made about Jacob's disappearance, he and a friend entered the canyon on July 11, 2020, and shortly after became separated.

The friend tried to look for Jacob, but the mass expanse of the forest made it difficult, so instead he contacted the Pima County Sheriff's Office to officially report his friend missing.

Investigators have never confirmed this sighting and it brings about a whole new set of theories.

Unfortunately, Jacob's case has not been entered into NamUs, but it appears that the Santa Cruz and Pima County Sheriff's offices are continuing to work on his case.

Currently, there are no further plans to search the Madeira Canyon and Jacob's family and friends are hopeful that one day

they will have answers.

They just seemed pretty vaguely familiar.

It was in Madeira Canyon.

And actually on the calendar in two weeks, I had after that ad scheduled them quades, the couple.

And it turned out that they were sitting two feet from us in Madeira Canyon at the bird feeders.

And it didn't dawn on me until I realized it later,

even though

Crazy.

Nice.

Well, describe that trip.

It looks like six days, so did you do the classic, it looks like Sierra Vista or Madera Canyon, uh, Patton Hummingbird Center, some, all those key spots?

Yeah, kind of.

So I had actually, that was another one I was invited on.

Yeah, that bird.

[laughs]

What about the, uh, Copper-tailed Trogon? Was that in Madera Canyon or elsewhere?

Uh, no, that was actually at Cave Creek Ranch.
