Madden NFL 2005

I was looking through the episodes that we've done together.

Most recently, we did the Madden 05 versus ESPN NFL 2K5 showdown.

Once and for all decided which was the better game.

But before that, we had a lot of RPGs, most notably Dragon Quest V, Final Fantasy IV.

They're not, I don't think they're gonna be a playoff team, I don't think they're great by any means.

And Aaron Glenn, bro, I have played Madden since I wa- I don't get to play a lot anymore, but I'll still pull out my old, uh, Madden 2005, since I was probably seven years old.

100 times out of 100, 1,000 games of Madden in a row, I call timeout to get myself the football back to go try to win the game.

Because think about how good kicking is these days.

But it was 2K5.

Or sorry, not 2K5, Madden 2005.

That I bought.

That was a good game.

It was a good game.

And I played the shit out of that game.

Like so much Madden 2005.

People still

Somebody said field vision in Madden 06 was the first time they experienced racism.

I remember back on Madden 05, Michael Vick sounding a little different in the snap count than all the other quarterbacks.

Maybe Byron Leftwich was in that game as well.

And you would have someone like Peyton Manning, Carson Palmer, walk up there and go, But then you would have someone like Michael Vick walk up there and go, I did it wrong, man.

But it sounded, dude, I can't do it right.

It sounded blacker, okay? I'm just going to say it like it is.

Madden 05 was the first time I experienced racism.

You have paid me a lot, a lot.

Erickson?

Dude, Deuce McAllister was one of my favorite running backs to play as in Madden 2005.

Hell yeah.

So the fact that I got the opportunity to talk to him every single week on the New Orleans Radio is pretty exciting.
