I'm going to say health conscious talking about organics why she led into it is it actually essential and the likes of regenerative foods and that being a stepping stone into organics and all things I'm going to say food and health and cooking and where she started off and all the different stories and she's very humorous as well so I'm super grateful for that and she is a major supporter of the whole cycle and anything that the event anything of the event that we most certainly organized which was absolutely brilliant and Doreena and the Ballymaloe cookery school is not only the best in Ireland right it's something that's well sought after across Europe and America and I know that because there are people and connections of mine made through Western A Price over in the Californian region which I spent in San Diego a period of time for the summer and they're coming over to literally train up in Ballymalu would you credit that people all over the world so we're so lucky and sometimes we don't understand or realise more so that the foods that are in these lovely green pastured four provinces of Ireland are amazing and to support them is the key thing Ballymaloe is up there with the top tip top top right we were super lucky to but you make your own luck in life to most certainly get in there and it's great that literally what everyone who came and most certainly supported the event strawberries to cream and the other farmers that we went to and gained advantage of that tasting the foods seeing the farms and seeing everything from trees to trees all along the way and eating I don't have any black bricks we ate as natural electrolytes and put in our water with the likes of sea salt Celtic sea salt or even Atlantic sea salt that we had for eating and that's what we did we ate nothing but the best of I'm going to say organic free range eggs from honesty boxes in those videos that I didn't even get out and I was trying to put out as many pieces of content as I possibly could on that given week that we were cycling But after Ballymaloe, we headed and stayed in the lovely Radisson, Radisson Blue, Radisson, just outside Cork City, right? But one of our third farms was definitely up there with the most interesting to date that I've called to and most certainly been a part of.

Colman PowerHOST

in and out and on the pasture on the fields flats if you haven't ever seen a buffalo it's where we're to look right they are someone who do take on people for tours and as well as that food sampling but we wouldn't leave without sampling food after cycling the guts of the hundred kilometres on that given day and it sure as hell was a hilly one and even getting out of Cork City I think it's I think it's the Glen it's the Glen Hill as his cars do with struggle to get up it in first gear never mind the second or anything else if there was any more gears on my bike I would have been good so that was the second of our farms and such a unique most certainly animal to have in Ireland and also such a unique taste from the raw milk that we tasted both in Ballymaloe from Jersey cows and the leaning towards the buffalo milk it was extremely unique in its taste so again all those things are natural food items that do come from animals that are all in alignment with what I believe in and anyone else who comes to the farm tours on these different occasions so that was the second of them and we had ricotta cheese we had the likes of the buffalo beef burgers and what else was on the menu that day oh my god we had loamy buffalo cheese there was more cheeses I didn't even know what to do with and we were making up our own kind of burgers using sourdough bread which was most certainly bought from Seagull Bakery prior to that it's based in Waterford and again all the time we are literally just eating foods that are produced in Ireland and giving it and pairing it with other farm produce to make beautiful nutritious balanced meals for the cyclists as well as anyone who would like to come and visit these particular farms on the occasion that we have tickets for people that would like to most certainly come and be a part of the whole tour from start to finish or just on one given day for that matter okay the next to the farms that we most certainly lined ourselves up with where do we stay and after that we headed up towards that we were heading for Kerry that's exactly where we were heading for right because we had the McBroom Buffalo Cheese followed by a lovely spin down we stayed in Glengarriff Glengar was there and is a beautiful place in West Cork and if you haven't ever been there I'd highly recommend it I'd highly recommend it because there is lovely sea Atlantic water and an island out there What year was that? 2014.
