Mackenzie Hawkesby

But it's, yeah, good.

Again, don't want any more teams to kind of collapse or be under that existential threat we can't afford that we need to be giving more opportunities to players not less like we've already I think feeling the effects of not having a Western United and all of those players who have not the scramble last season of not getting them into contracts and like maybe that's an explanation for why some of the names that we flagged throughout this first half of the chat about like why hasn't Mackenzie Hawkesby announced a club yet? Why hasn't, like, Amy Harrison announced a club yet? Like, is that the run-on effect of that? Like, there's not the opportunity there that we've lost.

So, yeah, obviously want the Mariners to exist, want them to be alive, want them to be offering playing opportunities to Australian footballers and contributing to the greater ecosystem of women's football in this country.

Perhaps.

Well, guys, with the women, let's have a look first at who's left, because there was a lot of outs here.

Tallinn Henneke, Halmusik, Hannah Lowrie, uh, Maddie Aison, Heather Hinds, Abby Lemon, Kirsty Fenton, and then Tori Trumith, Mackenzie Hawkesby.

Now, I think we n- you know, there's a lot of talk about this.

Tori Trumith, she's obviously playing in Vancouver.

I know you don't listen to this podcast, unless you do sometimes.

But anyways, proud of Tori, so, so proud.

Mackenzie Hawkesby, this is the tough one.

Tough one to take, tough pill to swallow.
