So I started playing in the UK, I've been playing for 20 years so a while ago and started for Macclesfield Town Football Club I actually played with Susan Bassett there, who plays for Cove in Adelaide now.

And moved on to then Loughborough because I went to Loughborough University, so played for their university side and then their local side as well.

So back in the day, you know, last season, Crystal Palace, I know they made loads of changes.

Every year it's getting harder and harder to compete in League One with League One teams, let alone trying to play a Fulham second team.

It's, uh, it's a horrible situation to be in because you're wondering from one day to the next, one answer from the next.

He declared himself bankrupt and was replaced by his cousin, and it all led up to today.

What do you think from, from what you know from MyFC, was there anything from them that wanted any control back of Ebbsfleet? And were there any rumblings of any, any affluent, uh, businessman potentially coming in and trying to solve the problem that was there?

You can run them like businesses.

There needs to be mitigation to make sure that what happened to Portsmouth and what happened to Bury Football Club and what happened to Macclesfield Town and other teams like that doesn't happen in the future.

Is there a risk of that happening to the likes of Aston Villa though? I'm not sure.

They're a bigger club than Portsmouth.

I mean, to be fair, I don't think many people expected us to get anything at Everton, but the point remains, you know? Like the Macclesfield defeat in the FA Cup, I had more texts after that-

But there was a point when people thought he would either resign or he would be fired.

They lost to Macclesfield in the FA Cup, obviously as defending FA Cup champions, which was a historically bad defeat.

But he saw out the season, he steadied things, and more than that, Palace, uh, ended up winning the, the Conference League, the, the first European trophy.

Only the second trophy in total in their entire history.
