And so the frustration was mounting.

But then we interviewed Mac McAnally one day, and he doesn't even know how much he helped me.

He quoted, he just said this quote, and it was, It was Mac McAnally quoting Jimmy, who was quoting Mark Twain.

And he said, it's not the storyteller's job to tell the truth.

It's the storyteller's job to tell the lies that lead the audience to the truth.

Yeah, there you go.

We put that quote up at the end of the exhibit and it says Mac McAnally quoting Jimmy, quoting Mark Twain.

And that's my excuse.

I stayed at home Thursday night.

And then Friday was the art walk in the McAnally at the Singer in the Coral Reef Band.

And No, I don't think it's Coral Reef.

But he was talking about his history with Jimmy Buffett.

But, you know, talk to people that had a great dinner at Royal Scam, you know, so there's just all the great stuff that are down there.

Now, Mike was talking about our little shindig at Alchemy Tavern.

That was our our pregame for the Mac McAnally concert.

And that was the terminal point for the second line that they had from the, that was the Son of the Sailor Fest, that our second line starting out at the Outsider and coming down Dolphin Street through the middle of Art Walk and all that kind of stuff.

Karen, also, let's talk about this evening, because I think that tickets are still available, though it's really going to be a great show.

Talk about Mac McAnally, his event at the Sanger Theater, and how this all ties into the Jimmy Buffett weekend.

Absolutely, yes.

So Mac McAnally was a longtime member of the Coral Reefer Band and a longtime friend of Jimmy's.

And he has been super helpful working on this exhibit as well.

All of his stories and his interviews and all the information he has about the guitars and all the things that we have.

But yeah, and he started adding steel drums and he took a guy named Michael Utley from Jerry Jeff Walker and Mr. Utley kind of had some stuff that he had Mac McAnally.

A lot of our good fortune comes from the people that we were fortunate enough to have come into our lives.

I mean, when I look at some of my success, Like I got a trial lawyer in my firm named Keith Mitnick.

One also with, uh, Josh Leo as well.

There are covers of a Mac McAnally song and a song by Rhonda Coulet.

Riddles in the Sand reached number 95 on the Billboard 200 album charts and number 18 on the Billboard Top Country album chart.

The song When the Wildlife Betrays Me hit number 42 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.

He composed singles for, uh, Eddie Rabbitt, and he produced albums for Pam Tillis and Travis Tritt.

So you can really feel the country shift as you look at the session artists on this album.

On background vocals, we have Mac McAnally and Wendy Waldman.

Waldman later focused on songwriting, and with Phil Gladstone and John Lind, wrote songs for such artists as Madonna, Celine Dion, and Earth, Wind & Fire.

Toby Keith and Scotty Emerick.

Mr. Emerick, by the way, is, uh, doing a lot of shows with Mac McAnally as part of that Jimmy Buffett, uh, Coral Reefer Band tribute tour.
