Lynne Moody

Finally, finally, through a dear mutual friend of both of Michelle's and I, we found her daughter, and then we found her.

And, uh, we are so thrilled to have Lynne Moody and Lisa Naomi Wright.

Yay.

Hello.

You are my niece, and you're my favorite niece, and you have no idea how many people you've made so happy in this moment.

And I just went, "Oh my goodness," right? [laughs] And I still have no idea who my mother is still.

So we were on the phone for a good half an hour before I finally said, "Well, what's my mother's name?" And he said, "Oh, your mother's name is Lynn, Lynne Moody." And then I went, "Lynne Moody?" And so I'm sitting at my desk, and I Googled it, 'cause that's what we do now, you know? [laughs] And I Googled it, and her picture popped up, and I think it was a picture of you when you were probably, like, 18 or 19 years old.

And for me, that was the first time that I had seen somebody who looked like me, ever.
