Lynn H. Cohick

I'm a co-founder of the Visual Museum for Women in Christianity, and that, uh, comes under the umbrella of, uh, Women in Christian Leader- Center- CWL, Center for Women in Leadership.

Lynn Cohick is the principal of that.

And so Lynn and I are, based on that class I teach in Italy, um, it didn't start out looking at women.

It started out looking at medieval Christians, but I started noticing all these women I'd never heard of, and seeing women in church office pretty early on.

So I, I didn't even know where to start.

I started listening to podcasts, and I ran into like a Beth Allison Barr in my mind is one.

I'm running into Lynn Cohick, and then I ran into you.

Well, I just want to, for those who are watching, I know many are listening, but for those who are watching, I'm holding up Christian Women and the Patristic World, and then the subtitle Their Influence, Authority, and Legacy in the Second Through Fifth Centuries, co-authored Lynn Cohick and Amy Brown Hughes.

I just want to start by saying this is a really terrific book.

It puts in one place where years before I was assigning a whole lot of articles, and you pulled a lot of stuff together, which I really appreciate, and also, um, just that you have provided a lot of source material.
