Christian WhiteHOST
So I'd love to kind of hear your latest take as it relates to what you're seeing out there in the world today and what is pertinent to viewers.

Lynette ZhangGUEST
Well, you know, Christian, since I've been studying currencies and currency life cycles and actually all of these markets on all different levels, but I've been a banker and I was a stockbroker in the 80s.

Lynette ZhangGUEST
And that was at the period where globalization was just kicking off and also how brokerage houses were gathering assets in-house.

Lynette ZhangGUEST
And I remember that very distinctly because they paid me extra if I could have my clients keep their assets in house, whether it was a stock certificate or a bond certificate or anything like that.

Lynette ZhangGUEST
I didn't really understand at the time that that was about creating a collateral base for those Wall Street banks to go out and use your equity on their behalf.

So, you know, where do these eight pillars come from? Start talking about those.

Lynette ZhangGUEST
And they came from my work as an economist because I know how deeply I dive in.

Lynette ZhangGUEST
And so for those viewers that aren't familiar with my work, I started studying.

Lynette ZhangGUEST
But as a stockbroker at Shearson, I started studying about currency and currency life cycles.

Lynette ZhangGUEST
Well, really, you know, you brought it up earlier, Andrew, and you could not have been more spot on because when one system dies, another one is born.

Lynette ZhangGUEST
And that's partly what gold and silver provide because they hold your purchasing power intact and they enable you to sustain a reasonable standard of living.

Lynette ZhangGUEST
But mostly as far as being that independent, gold, because really 2008, I knew the system died.

Lynette ZhangGUEST
And that's when I became a prepper and I've had, and I've been working on it diligently since then, to become as independent and self-sufficient as possible.
