Velen Studios' remaster of Star Fox 64 is a classy piece of work, built on their own Viper engine with a fresh art style that keeps the 1997 original's bones fully intact, branching corridor levels, all-range mode dogfights, and the animal mercenary premise of Fox and the crew defending the Lylat system from Andross.

The Arwing still flies like a dream with snappy on-rail shooting that hasn't lost a step in the years hence.

And the voice work is also impressive.
