What's, you know, how have you sort of found that experience side of things?

Yeah, there's been a, I guess everyone in football has their own journey into professional football and obviously mine was in terms of having a lot of challenges at quite a young age, not just in terms of what happens on the field but off the field and financially, football isn't the most cheap sport so obviously, you know, coming up from that kind of, I guess, background and then being able to get the opportunities that I had it was a great experience for me i think everyone just goes through their own experiences and hopes to you know bring that out and how they play and things like that and for me it's uh i love being an indigenous role model and things like that if you would like to call me that i guess but um you know it's just it's great to be able to have someone to look up to i think as for me it was lydia williams and still is um post career even um i think she was an amazing player for our game and So, yeah, you know, what she did for me, I hope I can do for the next Indigenous kid.

And I guess, you know, on that front, again, sort of very similar along the lines of what I just asked you in terms of the injuries, if, you know, Sydney FC would assign, you know, an Indigenous, you know, teenager tomorrow, what sort of advice would you give them in terms of, you know, their journey, taking the next steps on that?

Yeah, for me, you know, being in spaces that you're not, I guess, accustomed to, like I came from Wagga and then you're up in Sydney in the big smoke and you're living a very different life.
