And then it was always a goal.

Like, I wanted, uh, built, my first Super Cub was with a O-320, and then the next one was an O-360, and then I did one with an Apex, and then now with the one with the radial, the Bernard radial in it, and now I'm building one with a turbine in it.

And I'm learning so much.

Like, everyone I learnt quite a bit from.

But there's a backstory, right? It's, uh, you started it with somebody else, and then you took it over.

Yeah, so it started kind of, or, like, I was building, uh, a Super Cub.

It was a BBI, uh, kit, and, uh, I actually, I built it first with an O-360 in it, and I really liked it.

But then the, kind of the phase with, like, Steve Henry and the guys putting the Yamaha Apex in it.

Let me give you the numbers on the RV-7A, because they bear repeating every time someone who has not looked at this airplane walks into the conversation.

Typical power plant is a Lycoming O-360 or IO-360, one hundred and eighty horsepower in the standard configuration.

You can go up from there.

With one hundred and eighty horses out front, an RV-7A will cruise somewhere around one hundred and seventy to one hundred and eighty knots true airspeed on about nine to ten gallons per hour.
