Xander's question is, "If we can't get Arizona's manager, is there a package that can bring Lyle's high school arch nemesis Corbin Carroll home? If I had to do it, uh, this is the package I would offer: George Kirby, Johnny Farmello, Felene Celeston, and Luke Stevenson."

Wow.
L
50:05Lyle GoldsteinHOST
I don't know if I'd call Corbin a nemesis.

NWFXC wants to know, "What are the realities we could see a Boston Smith or Luke Stevenson compete for backup catcher? Uh, Pereda penciled in, I'm sure.
T
24:57Ty Dane GonzalezHOST
Or do they look to the outside again in an effort to preserve Cal?" Uh, I would think that Johnny Pereda's going to be your backup to start the year.

We were both at UNC a little bit when I was there, but it was awesome watching them play, being able to talk a little crap, that kind of stuff.

Ben Williamson was one of them, Luke Stevenson another.
S

E
64:21Eno SarrisHOST
Uh, maybe that'll help the Orioles identify some pitching.

Now we'll never
B
45:45Benjamin ChaseHOST
know, see? Then the other Seattle catcher that started at high A was Luke Stevenson, kind of a big name draftee in his draft year, but he has been doing it.
B
46:00Benjamin ChaseHOST
And I was really surprised that he did not get up to double A this year.
B
46:04Benjamin ChaseHOST
243 with a 405 on base, a 488 slug, 22 home runs, 98 walks on the year.
R
46:21Robbie BaseballHOST
to me that's that is like absolutely what you want as the trade-off for your high strikeout catcher is he will still get on base he is not doing the uh three true outcome i'm only do like he does hit the ball but he also will legitimately get on base to not end all these innings like if you're a Seattle fan and you've been hating this year and Cal Raleigh and all the things that have been going on, it's, he's not gotten on base at the clip that he needs to.
R
46:53Robbie BaseballHOST
And like, whereas Luke, like obviously they're not the same player.
R
46:55Robbie BaseballHOST
Luke Stevenson on the other end of this college drafted guy has been getting on base.
R
47:00Robbie BaseballHOST
So it's really nice to see the other side of what could be right.
