He's doing whatever he can to get the best out of the group, and that's the way it should be.

Uh, this goes back to Luke Richardson and a little bit of Anders Sorensen, where we heard, uh, some veteran players, I think namely Taylor Hall, kinda saying, "What is my role here? What is my expectation here? Are you happy with what I'm doing? Am I doing what's expected? Oh, I'm healthy scratch? Why am I healthy scratch? No one's communicating with me." That's something we have heard pretty much from everybody in a Hawks sweater that's been asked about Jeff Blashill is you know where you stand, where you stand.

He treats you fairly and tells you what's expected.

And I think most players, m- probably 99% of them, want to be coached, they want to be made better.

Connor basically said, like, "That first year, I was trying to be everything for everyone all the time, and trying to live up to the hype and trying to carry the team on my back, and I needed someone- Nick Foligno was one.

I think Luke Richardson was another who joked, like, "We have to hide his equipment.

He won't get off the ice."

If you're, if you're, if you are truly, truly pushing for the playoffs this year, you can't have Connor Bedard in and out and in and out of the lineup with something that just is gonna ail him the entire year.
