Luke Prokop

So for me, obviously my dad has earned this, the hall of fame induction, but, um, This is a tribute to Brendan as well and Brendan's courage.

If Brendan hadn't been willing to come out, you know, 16 years ago now when Brendan came out publicly, you know, before the age of heated rivalry and off campus, before this was so commonplace to talk about, before the Brock McGillis's and Luke Prokop's and Van Pattenger's of the world, right? So for me, my dad's induction is in part a family thing and in part because Brendan had the courage to try and change the hockey world for the better.

And my dad had the love and the courage to stand up with him.

So we're definitely going to be thinking of Brendan this weekend and celebrating his courage and what he did.

But I do see former Blackhawks prospect Jalen Lipan on that team, along with all the pro cops.

They've got Luke Prokop, and they've got another, yeah, but no Howard

Chuck.

Yeah, when I go to Solar Bears games, last game I went to, we went with two friends who don't really know hockey that well.

Um, he was playing in the AHL, so that is, like, the level below the NHL.

And he has actually said, his name is Luke Prokop, and he has said that he has received a lot of support.

He came out when he was only 19.

Um, but I think there are certainly questions about what it would mean to come out in the NHL where there is much more scrutiny on these players and how they conduct themselves.
