Like, I know the Bombers were into, um, Scott Pendlebury, and that would've been great if they were able to, to get him.

Really what they've needed for a couple of years now is the Luke Parker top figure, don't they, that North Melbourne's been able to have, and maybe Jack Viney just by chance will land in their lap.

He, he also does have the right to reject the, the trade.

Well, you look at someone like Lou Parker is one that it was sort of around my age that I remember he was just so dominant, um, such a good player, but people thought, oh, you know, is he going to be able to correlate that and ends up going pick 40 in the, I think it was 2010 draft.

I'm sure there's many people like that and it can go different ways, whether you're picking on potential or their talent right now.

I suppose it's having a mix of both, right? The foresight to see a player that can continue that form.

And then you're seeing someone else and going, yeah, but I'm predicting the future that his future development potential, he's going to be there.

That's the art of the deal.

Well, like you spoke about that point before that hasn't been missed on me, but earlier at the Bears when you said like you had Buckley and Voss going at it, right? And then you think- Luke Parker going to the Swans at that 2012-13 period where you've got guys like Jude Bolton and, you know, the like, putting him in that area will just fast track his development so much.

It really does somewhat depend on the players you have at your club too that can help the draftees.

LDU was just phenomenal, probably the best game of football I've ever seen him play.
