Well, this week I'm going to do the science of ADHD.

This has come up a fair bit recently and lots of people are familiar with ADHD, of course.

But, um, like I suppose I've been doing a lot of solo stuff online and a lot of sketches online.

Like during COVID I started a thing called Restart Republic where I was kind of reacting to what was happening, um, with people like Luke O'Neill and, and, uh, you know, uh, taking over our, taking over our lives, telling us what to think and where and, and, and where to be and who to see and all that.

So it's kind of evolved from that, really.

But, yeah, I'm doing a lot of different types of venues as well in the initial part of the tour, which has been brilliant because I'm doing, like, theatres, like the Watergate I did last week in Kilkenny, and then I'm doing, you know, the Cabinets, as you say, in Portlaoise.

Hello, welcome to Show Me The Science with me, Luke O'Neill, and this week a request.

And as I've said, I'm happy to take requests.

I have a few lined up, trying to get through them, and I'll do it if I feel I can talk about it.

I personally am going to be moderating a fireside chat with Ema Cook, the head of EMA that I'm very excited about.

And we have a keynote talk by Luke O'Neill from Trinity College, Dublin, which I think I've mentioned on the pod before.

But actually, one of the things I find most exciting about this conference is meeting these very early stage entrepreneurs.

These are often people still in the laboratory or in that process of spinning out from a laboratory.

Have you met Joanne face to face? So

I've met Joanne once in the weirdest circumstances in the height of COVID on the day that Luke O'Neill announced the vaccine.

We were on a panel show with Luke O'Neill.

So we were on a thing called Clear History.

It was me Joanne was like we had to do two metres so she was across the other side Luke O'Neill was about two metres down the other side Luke kept having to go to take phone calls because it was the day of like vaccine had finally been found who else was with us oh Colin oh I can't remember his name another comedian And so we spoke to each other across the room, instantly got on with each other, though, had a ferociously good chat about a mutual acquaintance and like knew that we liked each other.

But we were not in proximity because none of us were allowed to be in proximity.

So I like and I've I've spoken to her loads on Instagram or whatever.

I was wondering where you were going with this.
