So before that action starts, we're gonna run through some of the biggest names that you should be keeping your eyes on as that meet unfolds.

We also have some news that Shane Casas is leaving the University of Texas after being there for a few years now, as well as confirmation that Luka Mijatovic will be graduating high school early to compete for Texas this season.

We have a lot to talk about, so let's get into it.

So obviously starting things off, we have the Asian Games.

Now in June, she did just go some new personal bests.

She went new PBs in the 400 freestyle, the 200 butterfly, and the 400 IM, and also had just some generally pretty quick swims in, you know, other events like the 200 IM, 'cause, uh, you know, she's only 13 years old, and so it's entirely reasonable that she's going to keep dropping at a pretty impressive rate.

It's the same kind of story that we've been talking about with Luka Mijatovic when he was 14 years old, 15 years old, 16 years old, 17.

You know, when he's a teenager, you expect them to be dropping just kind of stupid amounts of time whenever.

And I think that we could potentially have some serious speed developing in the 200 freestyle, which is interesting to say, because if you go back just, you know, four or five years ago, this event seemed pretty stagnant.

And you know what? Speaking of 200 and 400 freestyle swimmers, let's talk about Luka Mijatovic, because after the last podcast episode, he did have his other big focus meet, aside from US Nationals, at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships.

Basically started right after Pan Pacs wrapped.

Mijatovic won every single individual freestyle event other than the 50 freestyle.

He was a 49.53 to win the 100, a 1.46.0 in the 200, a 3.43.67 in the 400, a 7.44.52 in the 800, and a 14.57.45 in the 1500.

Now, those are personal bests for Mijatovic in both the 800 and the 1500.

It's also just off his personal best of 343.45 from U.S. Nationals.

That swim from Nationals currently ranks 7th in the world this year.
