Luis Longstaff

So, yeah, it was always a good option to come here.

Obviously, you knew Louis and Remy from your time down south, but what was your first impression of the club overall? Obviously, it makes it a bit easier knowing those two boys, so that makes you settle in a little bit quicker, doesn't it?

Yeah, obviously I had them two to settle in, but coming in, it was like I'd been here for a while.

The lads were so good with me, just integrating me into the group straight away.

He's 24, he came through the Liverpool Academy, made his debut for them in the EFL Cup, signed for Preston North End, joined FC Thun in Switzerland.

on loan during his time there he helped them secure the Swiss Challenge League title I think and got promotion to the Swiss Super League that loan was made permanent I think he's maybe had a bad injury at some point and he joined Wimbledon on loan most recently and then he's done with the Dons and he's done with Thun and he's up the road and he was very happy to be here isn't he?

I like to say it's obviously a place where he's at home still quickly because obviously Remy Savage and the Louis Longstaff, both come through Liverpool Academy with him, so it's easier when you know people.

I think he's got his missus and kid up there as well, which he made the most out of, but he seems to have enjoyed it.
