And I get why like things with animals are triggering for a lot of people because like animals are helpless.

And you want to make sure that whoever is caring for them are taking good care of them.

And so now at this point, people are like demanding answers.

They're like, well, what actually happened to Mr. Chai? We want to actually launch an investigation.

And that's what I want to talk about next.

I helped for a while on Lucy's Law.

Are we still getting puppies from Europe? Are they still being allowed into the country? What is contributing to all of these centers being full?

So I know how frustrating that feels, Victoria, because I know you've been working on Lucy's Law for probably over 10 years now.

You started doing that.

But yeah, there was a piece of this due to be a piece of legislation introduced in Northern Ireland called Lucy's Law, which effectively is banning the commercial third party sale of low welfare, high volume supply of puppies and kittens.

So it's already had a significant positive impact on animal welfare here in England when it was introduced in 2020.

But Northern Ireland seems way behind the curve, but hopefully not for much longer.

So Lucy's law removes that middleman.

And the law originally came about because Lucy was a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who was rescued from a puppy farm.
