Lucy Score

Um, this one feels like a late fall kind of read, um, so definitely one that I do wanna read this year.

And then I also have "Things We Left Behind" by Lucy Score, which I just got in the mood to read today when they were announcing some of the casting for the adaptation of the "Knockemout" series.

So, um, maybe I'll pick that one up soon.

Who knows? And then the last one on the list is "Broken Country", which is a Reese Witherspoon pick.

And then, um, I've been checking them off as I've been reading them.

And I have been doing a pretty decent job of reading books, um, that I'm excited about in the time or in the year that I was excited about them, which is kinda cool.

Um, the third one is a book that I've had since March, and that is "Mistakes Were Made" by Lucy Score.

So I do have three pre-orders left to read, but given how many other books I have pre-ordered this year- Or purchased on release date.

So we're in the United States, we're in northeast Pennsylvania.

Like I hadn't done that to anyone else.

I was talking to Lucy Score and she's like 27 books or something and I'm like – When do you have the time to do this? Like what?

I know.

What was the last book that you did not finish?

It's such an escape of life and you can just get transported into these fake worlds with these fake characters.

So my recommendation is the Story Lake book series by Lucy Score.

I read the first one while I was here and then I found the second one I didn't even know it was a series and I found the second one when I was overseas so that was really exciting and they're just a really easy read the author like really transports you into another world you can get into the characters' minds and just the way it's written is really cool.

And there's a third book coming out in March next year.

So if you want like a new series to really like dive into, then highly recommend Story Lake book series by Lucy Score.

I should say what the actual individual book titles are.

The first one is called Story of My Life and the second one is called Mistakes Were Made.

Sports romance has become a massive juggernaut, catering to readers who want very specific dynamics.

And then you have the established heavy hitters in contemporary romance like Lucy Score, who is returning to her Story Lake series with a book called Just One More Chapter.

So right away, Avior, as an adult fantasy author, is competing for shelf space, social media bandwidth, and reader attention with deadly dating shows, football players, and cozy lakeside romances.
