I was looking at like, you know, previous like TEAL fellows and looking into like, you know, what helped them get the Teal Fellowship.

And I came across this interview with like Lucy Guo, like one of the co-founders of Scale.ai. And in that interview, she was talking about, you know, career advice she would give to like an ambitious 20 something.

And she said that the best career advice for anyone who's working in tech is join a well-known company for like six to 12 months.

Have that on your, you know, like, CV, resume, and then start thinking about like, what are some new like company ideas? What was a company that you want to start? And then rinse and repeat, right? If you don't have a good idea, go earlier, join an earlier stage startup, work for like one or two years, and then think about like new ideas.

And so it needs to be run very hard.

Now, it's interesting just on this topic that the Scale AI founder, Lucy Guo, who uses autonomous agents, has come out and said that she's actually working more than ever.

She says, this is her quote, it's making people work harder, actually, because you have to be awake for your agents to be running.

Last week, I worked a 26-hour day because I refused to go to sleep.

In 2016, and at just 21 years old, Lucy Guo co-founded Scale AI, which is an AI infrastructure and software company.

After two years, she left, and she went on to become the world's youngest self-made female billionaire.

And she wasn't finished there because Guo's current project is Parses, which is a monetization platform for creators.
