Lucky iron fish

Today, we are joined by Dr. Gavin Armstrong, founder of Lucky Iron Life, to explore how a powerful idea became an innovative food-based solution to a global nutrition challenge.

We're excited to dig into the story behind Lucky Iron Fish, the role of innovation in improving access to iron, and Gavin's journey bringing the idea to life.

Welcome, Gavin.

We're so excited for this conversation today.

Learned about research that was being done in Cambodia.

So ended up going to Cambodia, was supposed to be there for two weeks, stayed for three years.

And did a PhD on this concept, which is now the lucky iron fish.

Incredible.

There's a mention at one point in the article of a guy named Dick Buckley, who was a second unit director on the Sam Raimi Spider-Man film, arriving at the office and asking to be considered as the director for an upcoming Marvel movie.

Apparently, there were Punisher, Iron Fish, F- Iron Fish?

Iron Fish, whoo.

That's the best name ever.

I'm all about that one.
