You have a nice prospect as well in Lucas Beckman that's going to go back to junior hockey this year.

You kind of went through of how difficult it is.

Does that give you any pause as a manager at a draft of going, I don't know if I want to spend a high pick on a goalie because it may take him seven years to become an NHLer, and by then I might have to lose him to another organization.

He's got a big, big expectations for him in the QMJHL.

Well, I guess the, the one thing is like, they, they don't play until the weekend, right? Typically the OHL and the Q and the dub, they're all weekend leagues.

So it's like, if you keep them until Wednesday, whatever, but Hey, first preseason games in the book sends a four games left, but only two more game days as, as we're continuing to roll on here, training camp still with, what, 55 players then if they cut Lucas Beckman.

But other than that, I mean, there's a lot of trimming down to do.

They've got only a certain number of games, only a certain number of goalies can play.

But Lucas Beckman was reassigned to Cape Breton yesterday as the QMJHL season is underway.

Yeah, I mean, I've got no problem with that.

I would rather have him go back and get playing in the queue because obviously he's not going to be a part of the NHL roster.

when it comes to goal-tending.

Jackson Parsons, Kevin Radler, Lucas Beckman will be there.

Of course he'll wanna have a good showing in camp.

He's had a couple tough outings in a row, but you don't hold the rookie tournament against him, 'cause coming in cold in the second half of the game is tough, no matter where you slice it.

I think Kevin Radler needs a little bit more seasoning, and he'll obviously get that in the American League, working with Paul Gibson, the goaltending coach in Belleville.

And Lucas Beckman, I think, tough situation for him.

He came in, you know, middle of the game, and I think maybe his size worked against him a little bit yesterday with the way that the Canadians were kind of, you know, pushing and really thrashing the net and driving and making life difficult for him.

So I think those two guys obviously are going to Need a little bit more seasoning, a little bit more time, and Beckman will get that, as you say, in the queue again this year.
