Luca Preda

They have all four semifinalists and they take doubles.

Your singles finalists are Santa Marta and newcomer Luca Preda.

Neither of them qualified for NCAAs last season because they weren't here last last season santa marta joined us in january and preda is of course new but on the santa marta front former top junior in the world we know how talented he is uh ultimately 17 and 6 in dual matches for the wahoos last season he knocks out teammate sal's brockett in that quarterfinal two or in the semi-final i'm sorry to qualify luca prada i think we saw some really good play from him at all americans that continues this season he's really going to be threatening for a top three position in this lineup particularly indoors he knocks out jang joon kim in that semi-final to qualify And then, of course, in doubles, it is Santa Marta and Jang Joon Kim.

So they join Keegan Rice of Virginia as their qualifiers.

... his, you know, him doing well here, again, not super surprising.

Um, but again, you know, he did end up having to work his way through consolation after losing in the second round, um, and had to beat Forbes, Burguete, Barbier Gazou, Luca Preda in that final match.

And Luca Preda was- Fresh for that semifinal.

He had done so much

He had gotten two withdrawals in a row.

Every victory, like, pretty darn impressive.

Obviously, the top newcomer, Luca Preda, two and six, round number one.

By the way, talk about a welcome to college tennis moment.

I know Preda had played some doubles because Virginia had kicked off their fall already, but it's like, yeah, here's Roger Pascual.

And again, very curious to see if he can maintain the level that he had that rose him to play number two for the Ohio State team last year.

But I think we could see the Luca Preda emergence.

And one of the good things is that we've actually seen him play now because prior to coming to Virginia, he hadn't played in about a year, any like junior or pro events.

So yeah, very curious to see how his form holds into the main draw.

Yeah, so Oyekar was the...

And then the Preston Stearns, he has making it through.

And is that the one I have? Oh, Luca Preda.

All right.
