In a shallow grave, investigators found a green nylon bag containing the skeletal remains of a young female.

The condition of the remains immediately indicated foul play.

The location was semi-rural and sparsely developed at the time, offering the perp the seclusion to hide the crime.

Investigators painstakingly compared the recovered skeletal profile against over a thousand missing person cases nationwide, hoping to find a match, but every comparison came up empty.

With no identity and no witnesses, the case of this Loxahatchee Jane Doe grew cold, and the victim remained nameless for many years.

Unbeknownst to Palm Beach County authorities, about eighteen months before the Loxahatchee remains were found, a seventeen-year-old girl named Tina Beebe had vanished.
