Anywho, this album had a bunch of guest-starring backup vocalists, including Emmylou Harris, Lowell George, and the Pointer Sisters.

In 1979, the band broke up and with the subsequent death of founder Lowell George, they did not reform again until 1987.

Well, I was just going to come to Ride Like The Wind.

What I didn't realise was, until I was doing the research on this, that Ride Like The Wind is dedicated to Lowell George.

Oh, really? Yeah.

Yeah, I didn't know that.

So it's really, really, really interesting that you've got this song and you go, well, OK, does it sound like Lowell George? So what is it about it which makes it dedicated to Lowell George? You know, I don't know.

But I mean, it's just all of these, you know, you talk about, I mean, I know I'd laugh about the fact that I like stuff that is challenging and I like stuff that, you know, maybe is not as upbeat and, you know, everything.

This is an album which just makes me happy.

Next, we heard a rare Tucumcari twin spin double play.

That was Linda Ronsted and Willen, a great Lowell George duo.

Little Feet song that mentions that town on Route 66.

And then we just heard Dale Watson and Tucumcari, Here I Come.

And then the two of them decided they wanted to keep going, so they're doing a duo acoustic version with Little Feet songs and Lowell George songs, and then songs that they've each done in their storied careers over years.

You know, and the other thing about this, didn't Lowell George, his daughter, didn't she just appear on Mountain Stage within the last couple of weeks?

Last week's show featured her as one of the artists, and she has this Crazy, beautiful, folky and jazzy voice.
