And by the way, have you guys noticed the record number of love bugs? Oh, it's terrible.

It's awful.

It is.

It is crazy.

Yes, yes.

How many love bugs that there are.

And so yesterday Dylan and I were Googling all kinds.

Mississippians have been battling love bugs, which tend to concentrate on and along roadways and end up splattered across the front of cars.

According to the MSU Extension Service, there's a reason for that.

In addition to being attracted to each other, Adult love bugs are also attracted to compounds in the exhausts of both gas and diesel-powered engines, but only after the exhaust has been exposed to sunlight for a while and broken down into the chemicals love bugs find attractive.

There are two generations of love bugs per year, one in late spring and the second starts in September.

The fall flight is usually larger than the first.

It's a good idea to check your radiator regularly to make sure that it doesn't become clogged with love bugs and overheat.
