For Machinery's Pete's Pick of the Week, he highlights the Car- the Cason, not Carson, Cason Creek Farms retirement auction on October the 10th in Louisville, Georgia.

By Rebel Auction, uh, Company, Machinery Pete says the sale had a couple noticeable purchases.

2008 John Deere 7130 Premium with 1,105 hours on it sold for 118,250.

First machinery auction I've ever covered on the edge of a hurricane, so that was kind of exciting.

That was Saturday, October 10th in Louisville, Georgia, sold by Rebel Auction Company.

Probably saw, hopefully saw, maybe on social media we'd been talking about this, sell very, very low-hour equipment there.

And, of course, always interesting to see in the deep south, you know, how sale prices compare up north.

But of course, when COVID rolled around six and a half years ago, the pandemic and how that just drastically changed the auction space and really the whole used equipment space in terms of finding equipment that you needed four, five, six, eight states away.

Even if it's in the deep south, if it's what you needed, we started to see auction prices really flatten out.

And actually that was kind of what we saw Saturday in Louisville, Georgia on the sale for Cason Creek Farms.

We're going to cover a farm auction in Louisville, Georgia, filming it for our Machinery Pete TV show.

That Rebel auction is doing some really low-hour tractors on a farm there, so that should be...

Well, I would say it cuts on the condition of the equipment.

So if it's average-y kind of equipment, it comes out of what you would call the southern half of the U.S., and that's sort of always been the case over my 37 years.

But if you drift into the stuff we're focusing on Saturday on this auction in Louisville, Georgia, which is low-hour premium equipment, for example...

You've got like a, well, here I got a list.

And Friday, absolute surplus and government utility auction that will take place online.

And Saturday, absolute retirement auction for Cason Creek Farms in Louisville, Georgia.

And he plans to, uh, be in attendance of the retirement sale.

There's a 2008 John Deere 7630 with 1,300 hours on it, and a 2012 Case IH 7230 axle, uh, flow combine with 998 hours on it.

Folks, again, like Sam was saying, the sale is Saturday.

Is it Louisville, Georgia, Cason Creek Farms? Yes, sir.
