Louisiana's 1st congressional district

Do you know what happens in 2028 in that case? You have nearby Republican districts, Steve Scalise's, what is currently Julia Letlow's and will soon be somebody else's, and what is currently Cleo Fields and is about to be somebody else's, three Republican districts that will be diluted because they will have moved Democrats into those districts to un-racial gerrymander, what they say is a racial gerrymander, Louisiana's 2nd Congressional District.

And the Democrats want nothing more than Republicans to overreach and weaken specifically Steve Scalise's district because Steve Scalise is the guy who represents LA 1, which is the areas outside of New Orleans in the southeastern part of the state, and he is the number two Republican in the House.

Can you imagine if you weakened his district to the point where he could no longer serve? That's, that's what you're asking a court to potentially do, is weaken Steve Scalise's and other Republicans' districts.

It's not a good idea.

Uh, and so, uh, would, would recommend folks check out, uh, if you are in a Republican district, just because you are in a plus 10 or a plus 20 Republican district does not mean that you shouldn't be running campaign should not mean that you're not forcing those Republicans to defend exactly what they're doing in order to try to, uh, uh, support this ridiculous regime.

They are supporting Lauren Jewett in Louisiana District 1, Conrad Cable in District 4, and Lindsay Garcia in District 6, all in Louisiana.

My grandma was from Louisiana.
