I believe that.
39:38
Um, and I think she was hiding things, possibly roped...
39:42
I mean, we've seen a little bit of her being kind of roped into Jax's, you know, schemes and, like, sort of the way he would kind of try and executive produce the show himself and things like that, and how that's impacted her relationships with other people.
39:54
So I think perhaps the fact that she was in that relationship, l- let's be honest, also, uh, a signature tactic of co- controlling partners is to isolate people from their friends, so, and create issues between people and their friends, and I think that it's likely that that was, some of that was going on as well.
40:12
So I think that she might be facing issues in her long-standing relationships because her primary relationship was so toxic and that it probably pushed them away in some ways, um, and that there's honestly perhaps feelings of her, um, and, like, unresolved feelings from Zach and Kristen about things they were possibly made to sign onto or, like, turn a blind eye to, or, like, that they never felt like they got resolution on things.
40:37
I think it's very complicated for friendship groups when someone's been in an abusive relationship.
40:42
It's, it can be very complicated to, afterwards, to figure out what was real and all, all of that.

48:35
It's a tornado in your relationship, right.
22:08
put it all into the midterms um
22:12
complimentary um i wish they loved but no i agree i think that since Scandival I think that Scandival kind of like broke the brains of a lot of Bravo fans in some ways where it became then like everything had to be the next like every scandal then kind of had to be treated with the same kind of level of intensity as Scandival.
22:37
And I think that Summer House is that type of show where it's more comparable to Vanderpump Rules than a lot of other shows in the Bravo world, right? I mean, they literally, one led onto the other, right? So they're in the same kind of sphere.
22:53
And I think, yeah, people...
22:56
I think the fans are definitely doing a little too much with it.
23:00
I think that it's such a fine line, isn't it? It's an interesting philosophical question.
23:04
What is the difference between holding people accountable and then when it goes too far? It's a very fine line, isn't it? And often we look back on things, including, by the way, Scandival.
27:22
really crazy and and it's a different when you think about their jobs it's a different level right of of betrayal and lindsey is very focused on like we have weathered so many storms and people want to watch us and we want to keep working in this space so what do we need to do so that we can all keep filming
10:06
I think
10:07
so.
10:07
Yeah.
10:08
Firstly, thank you for bringing this up.
10:09
It's something that's been on my mind for, watching her because she really sums up to me the new housewife as in the sort of the younger crop of housewives we're seeing obviously she's quite an extreme example but um yeah the sort of therapy speak um the don't get me wrong i don't think there's anything wrong with therapy speak in certain situations and like it is actually really good to have healthy boundaries and friendships but It's a strange mixture and I think hypocrisy where she's going into the friendships and expecting them to be like her friendships in the everyday world, which is kind of ridiculous if you think about it, because in the everyday world, firstly, these women are, we're seeing a small percentage of what's actually filmed.
10:55
Like these women are hanging out with each other near on every day for about four months, which is, you know, most people don't see their friends that often.
11:03
Let alone if you were having really fractious, you know, difficult conversations you would probably not speak to someone for a while like but in this world you're at a dinner party with them the next day probably so it's not it's not realistic to put those expectations onto these friendships but then there's a flip side of that which is when it's time to promote business or do self promo which as we've seen amanda do literally relentlessly when she's on the show yes to go back to my point i just made we're seeing a small snippet so think how much she must actually be talking about this is how much we're seeing it must be constant never-ending talking about business so when they want to talk about business it's like oh suddenly this is a work platform so you know it's a work it's a job but when it's time to have those actually difficult conversations across the dinner table it's you're verbally costing me i this is you know my body is experiencing this like a physiological attack or whatever it was that she actually said My eyes were rolling into the back of my head.

Morgan.
12:01
Mm-hmm
12:02
... um, which is really, I was very surprised by, and I think actually shows you the power of real- like how much reality TV is now literally part of the mainstream for cultural furniture, right? Like 10 years ago, I think you would've so struggled to getPeople like the cast of Ladies of London on a reality show, so now it really shows us just how uncontroversial that is.
12:21
Um, e- even you- you know, the notoriously snooty elite aristocracy of the UK are embracing this kind of formerly low art considered platform.
12:32
So the Ladies in London mostly have preexisting relationships, and you r- I think I really got the sense from their opening two episodes that most of them are used to being in rooms together.
12:44
You know, they've got history.
12:46
Um, even in the opening episode, there was sort of tensions between two of the American women and that because they'd known each other since college.
12:52
So there was definitely backstory there.
