So, um, the biggest news is, well of course while we were sitting in the press box covering Union 2, we were following what was happening with Loudoun United, and Eddie Davis had a hat trick.

Um, and, but they still lost.

Good figure.

You got El Paso still in first with 40 points.

New Mexico United, however, is pulling through, right? I mean, they still have two games to catch up to El Paso.

They're now tied for first with 40 points.

So I feel like New Mexico is just going to keep moving up.

And next Saturday, we play against Detroit City at home.

And then once again at home on Sunday, September 20th against Uncle Ruckus.

That game starts at 4 p.m. And then the following Saturday, we travel out to New Mexico United.

Going to be a difficult match there.

And we have also like a nice, you know, um, like, uh, a full circle moment we can say for Hartford athletic and the swings, uh, switch switchbacks matchup.

It brings club connections to the four of this posted by Nicholas Murray back in the middle of August, but all roads leading back to writing United AC for Burke and prodigy, Alan McCann ahead of this semifinal clash.

I mean, As it stood, we weren't scheduled to see a regular season meeting between Colorado and Hartford.

The sides hadn't been paired off in the interleague segment of the USL championship campaign.

The defending USL Cup, or could be maybe in the playoffs, but the USL Cup title holders, defenders, Hartford, will host to Colorado at Trinity Health Stadium.

And this could easily be termed the Brendan Burke diary back to the Philly roots when Burke arrived in Colorado to become Switchback's head coach prior to the opening of Winder Field back in 2021.

It was with a turnaround in mind to aid that Burke brought some trusted allies with him from his prior roles within the Philadelphia Union organization, including serving first as head coach at USL League Two club, Reading United AC, before becoming the Philadelphia Union's second manager, then known as Bethlehem Steel, in the USL Championship.

So joining Burke in Colorado were Stephen Hogan and James Chambers, both of which led the switchbacks after Burke's departure to Houston Dynamo in 2023.

Then you go to 20 points in 10th place.

Loudon United with 21 matches played.

Birmingham and Brooklyn both have 20 matches played.
