That is a... top rider Bruno Amaral he was very underrated before he even went to Wismar in the first place so yeah obviously a TT specialist as well which helps but his climb it's like Campenot when he moved from Lotto to Wismar like the climbing profile is there in a way like it improves a lot compared to Campenot so yeah but Amaral did he go too deep potentially?

uh, there's definitely something to it because, uh, the, um, the plan of the French was very clear, hard pace, and then a sequence of attacks to completely break open the race.

I guess the one team that was rumoured earlier on in the window was Lotto, wasn't it? And I'd assume Lotto would go deeper to get him because they kind of need him.

But Tour of Slovakia, Patrick, what did you make of that? Paul Magne, as sort of a quick step, seemed to be absolutely dominating that in the early part.

Yeah, it's pretty much the dominance came from either Magne, who I think took two stage wins, or it was Lennart van Eetveldt for, I was going to say NSN, that's where he's going next year, for Lotto Intermarche, still.

He then, he got two stage wins and the overall.

So yeah, Magne got stages one and two.

Obviously, the UE tour, we remember that back in 2024, and he also won the Tour of France and now winning his first elite road race in Europe.

So, yeah, a good addition to his Palmares.

He was second in the Arctic Tour of Norway earlier this year as well, but I just think this is a huge blow for Lotto that they're losing him and all his UCI points to NSN Cycling.

So yeah, they lost on a delete.

So another one of these talent riders going to another team, unfortunately.

And then we also have Christoph going to Uno X by his younger brother, leaving Lotto Intermarché.

Right, I shall move on now to the latest rider transfers, and the biggest mover confirmed last week was the Belgian, Lennart van Eetveldt.

He's been with Lotto and Tamarche since he turned pro back in 2023, but he's yet another big name rider to choose to move on from that team.

He'll be with team NSN for the next three years at least.

Meanwhile, Lotto have announced a new signing themselves.

Stander Wolff returns to the team that he also turned pro with after a few years over at the French squad Decathlon.

Kasper Pedersen is moving away from Soudal Quick-Step and going over to Uno-X, whilst Exia Sestana have announced another signing.
