Lottie Elton

I didn't see any story saying, "By the way, millionaire migration is a, is a load of nonsense." It just seems all of a part of trying to say that this country is a kind of high-tax hellhole, and you should be leaving if you possibly can.

Well, I mean, there was a very good writeup of all this by Lottie Elton in the Big Issue, uh, in which she, uh, spoke to some experts and argued there are a number of ways in which the idea of an exodus was misleading.

One of which was that the numbers have been overstated, like both in terms of the absolute numbers have often been based on like a handful of cases and then extrapolated out.

Um, and, and it's a much smaller proportion than anyone thinks, so it's like maybe, I think it was like 0.3% of the possible millionaires could be leaving, which is, you know, nothing.
