So before we get into everything, your wife, Lotta, celebrated 15 years sober yesterday, which is amazing.

What does that milestone mean to you, having been alongside her for all of that?

Yep, there was a little bit of cake and things.

Yeah, that's a good question.

I think it's really important to, if you've got a friend who's given

up, or your wife

or whatever, to... not think oh they won't want to come to the pub or they might not or that they won't want to do things because of that like you know just because okay so they're not drinking so still do I get yeah the realizing and being conscious that the good bit is seeing your friend and catching up with them and that that can be the good bit it doesn't have to be it was okay it always used to be that you went and drank together but actually just the good bit was being with them and being conscious of that and then recognizing that you can still have just as good a conversation and connection over a coffee or a soda water or whatever, or you can still have a beer and they can have a soda water and they're not going to care or that they might still want to be at the pub and having a Diet Coke and nobody gives a shit.
