If you travel to Warsaw, there's a direct connection from Los Angeles, Calais to Warsaw.

You can even walk, I mean, not literally from the Chopin Airport, but in the center of Warsaw, there is a Good Maharaja Square because the story of the Good Maharaja is well known by people of Poland who have at least some intermediate knowledge of Polish history.

Let's get to the news of mergers and new partnerships.

Southwest Airlines has added LOT Polish Airlines as its 11th international airline partner, further expanding the airline's ability to offer customers connection to destinations around the world.

LOT operates its primary hub in Warsaw Airport, connecting Central and Eastern Europe with an extensive international network that includes long-haul Boeing 787 service to North America, India, Japan, and South Korea.

Travelers can connect between Southwest and LOD at Los Angeles, Miami, and San Francisco.

Speaking of Southwest, they are continuing to add partners.

So they just added LOT Polish Airlines to their interline agreement.

That was back on September 1st.

So that gives passengers on both carriers a way to string together itineraries that touch Warsaw and points across the U.S., The airlines currently overlap at three gateways.

So instead of Section 118, 119, 120, it was the airline section.

So it was Sabina Airlines, Texas Airlines, Polish Airlines, Air Canada Airlines, Air Continental, USA, United.

Wow, like one massive terminal.

Yeah, I mean, so when people came back into the building, instead of trying to remember what section they were in, they would remember what airlines they were on.

Um, and then yeah, in terms of like my big takeaway, um, you know, I think humans, we're always inclined to see risks before opportunities, and I think it's really easy to read a lot of what we're talking about as like, "Oh man, look at all these risks to my business." But all of this source of uncertainty becomes a really amazing engagement point for travelers.

Like I'll point to like LOT Polish, one of our partners, one of the way that they're using our product effectively is to like highlight changes in requirements as a reason for travelers to go to their platform ahead of time, uh, to look at like requirements.

And they're, they're using it to actually drive like a 30% plus increase in total basket size by bringing people back onto their platform earlier ahead of a trip and saying like, "Hey, you know, Polish people all of a sudden need this UK ETA" is like a risk, but also a really important engagement point that will actually drive interest in, you know, not just do I need the requirement, but like, "Oh, should I actually go on this trip that I've been thinking of?" Um, these are, the, all of these little points become, you know, concerns for travelers, but also unique opportunities to fulfill a need and create interest in travel.
