Los Crudos

It was Pegboy.

It was Los Crudos.

It was Cap'n Jazz.

Like, all these bands that were happening around that time.

I went to see them in Memphis, and it's like a little hot charity tour.

they were on it you know this tiny club hot as summer in the south and just the horns and the energy and everyone in the crowd going wild like i mean the crowd couldn't be much bigger than this room maybe two of these rooms yeah you know perfect vibe catches yeah but even arkansas always had a good punk scene like Like, in the beginning, I wasn't in the punk scene itself, because I never played in a band, but I was at all the shows, you know, like, and I remember seeing, like, Los Crudos play at the fucking, like, there was this Belvedere they had next to the river that you could just go plug in at.

So, like, it would just be these shows next to the river, and they'd ask for donations and whatever.

So there's always shows a couple times a week, you know.

I didn't hear that there on that, but, uh, there was always music and always shows.

So it's like, and seeing them like, Oh, you're doing this.

And, Like I said, Los Crudos was the one that...

Yeah, that's a good band to see, especially at a young age as well.

Like, so the show, the show is 88 fingers.

Louis, we're playing like, uh, More times than not, it was us and the Bo Weevils and Los Crudos and Captain Jazz.

It was like every band sounded different.

But we were all buddies.

And with that band, you know, we we got down to Miami and.

and played some gigs, played with Los Crudos down there, really awesome show.

But then that band, we also ended up going to Brazil.

That's the first time that I went to Brazil.

Hmm.

I mean I have a lot of like favorite records but and I've lost some things through the years but I'm really really happy that somehow like along all of these years I never lost any of my original pressing like Los Crudos stuff so I still have like all of those you know because they would like screen print a lot of those covers or like they would like photocopy like a lot of those covers were handmade where there was like something was done on red paper and it was cut out and glued on like the paper um so i still have a huge chunk of all of that original los crudos vinyl and um i never get tired of listening to that band never
